Testimonials
Sarah Mertz
Peyton taught my daughter Anna for 3 years. She was calm, creative and fun. If Anna didn’t respond to a song or technique, Peyton pivoted to make the teaching stick.
Anna learned to play piano, but more importantly learned to have fun with music. Because of Peyton’s example, Anna loves to experiment with the piano and sings without embarrassment.
Peyton’s passion for music and kindness with students makes her an amazing teacher.
Cordelia Redmond
Fantastic teacher! She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful ability to connect with her students. Her lessons are fun and engaging while still encouraging students to challenge themselves and grow. During COVID, she kept my child entertained, motivated, and excited to learn. We are so grateful for her talent, positivity, and dedication.
Tara Denham
Peyton Mahan taught my son, Jamison, for 5 years (from age 8 to 12) and it was a really great experience. Peyton made piano fun - teaching the basics and moving up to poplar songs. She has a great mix of patience, encouragement, and musical know-how.
Jamison made real progress, not just in technique but in overall confidence and love for playing. One of the things I appreciated most was how she taught songs he thought were fun - like Dr Dre, theme songs (from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Mission Impossible, and Halloween), and classical pieces.
These lessons helped him with math and concentration - he even played some songs in his summer camp talent shows! I cannot recommend Peyton enough!
Phyre Kwong
Peyton has by far been my favorite piano teacher! She’s so diligent and encouraging when teaching that it makes me a better pianist! Her personality makes learning and practicing fun!
